Whatever you like but most people find light comfy clothing and trainers or softish shoes are about right. High heels can get painful and wrap-round skirts have a habit of unfurling!

We do a lot of barn dances for foreign visitors, we have linguists in the band and can offer French and German translation (let us know in advance though) Once people realise the idea is to have a laugh, they do!
